We explore the bustling bazaars of Istanbul, the Byzantine masterpiece of Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Justinian's underground cisterns and the sprawling opulence of the Topkapi Palace, perched on the cliffs above the Bosphorus. We cross the Sea of Marmara,. then move down the historical and mountainous western coast, with extensive walking tours of Troy, Ephesus, Aphrodisias and Pergamum, Pamukkale arriving finally at the turquoise bay of Antalya.
